The Louisville Metro Government sets the standard taxi rate. Current taxi fares in Louisville follow (additional fuel surcharges may apply, only as authorized by local government ):

METERED FARE

1st Mile or less = $4.31
Each Additional Mile = $2.06. An additional charge of $3.00 per passenger beginning with the 5th passenger may be added to the metered fare. 4 Passengers Can Ride for the Same Price as 1!
WAITING TIME: 36¢ per minute
HOURLY RATE: $21.60 per hour
AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN — DOWNTOWN TO AIRPORT
(No stops between Airport to Downtown/Downtown to Airport)
• Maximum rate of fare is $18.85
• An additional charge of $3.00 per passenger beginning with the 5th passenger may be added.

AIRPORT TO OTHER HOTELS/MOTELS NOT DOWNTOWN

TOTAL FARE

If TOTAL FARE is less than $9.55 then a maximum rate of $9.55 maybe charged.

+ Charges or tolls to pick up or discharge passengers at public facilities
